Haven’t spent the Chinese New Year at home for seven years, I was excited about the new year trip to Shanghai with my family.

We started our first day in Shanghai at the Bund 18, Hakkasan, a michelin starred Cantonese restaurant. It is one of the restaurants I have been longing for to visit. I should have visited with my friends two years ago in London, but we missed it cause we had to go elsewhere to meet a new friend. Friends are more important, right?

This time no more accident, we sat at a table over looking the Bund from those big windows opposite and enjoyed our lunch with tasty dim sum.

If you want dim sum with a view, that’s where you go.

七年沒在家過年,很期待國內過年的氣氛 (其實也沒什麼氣氛)。

第一天在上海和家人去了一家我一直很想去的米其林餐廳,就是位於外灘18號的Hakkasan。兩年前在倫敦讀書的時候就想去,訂了位但因爲要去見一個新朋友沒去成。後來也沒有再重新安排。

這次終於去成了。訂位的時候說了要看得到景的桌,所以就給了我們靠窗的。魚籽帶子燒賣,玉液韭菜花餃,客家素鵝卷,和沙嗲脆皮雞都很好吃,麵食一般。

想看美景吃點心,不要錯過。
