Wing Lei*

My kind of canteen.

Yes, I went to Wing Lei yumcha again to try those dim sums I seldom order. I like the pan-fried minced pork with lotus root and baked abalone puffs with roasted chicken. Also tried the baked barbecued pork buns with sweetened crust, however it’s slightly inferior when in comparison with those from other restaurants, the sweetened crust was not crispy enough. I always have the chilled osmanthus jelly with pomelo for desserts, additionally I tried the sweetened cashew nut cream with tapioca pearls, like the sweetness and the strong cashew flavour.

Sometimes it is good to try new things.

又來飯堂了。

是的,又來永利軒飲茶了,嚐了平常被忽略的點心。喜歡煎蓮藕豚肉餅和鮑魚燒雞酥,味道很好。雪影燒餐包對我來說就還好,跟我在別家餐廳吃的比較起來略為遜色,可能是不夠脆吧。甜品還是有必點的柚子桂花凍糕,另外加了大珍珠腰果露,我喜歡的甜度,很有腰果的香味,再配湯圓簡直太好吃。

有時候就是要試新東西。
