Ginza SushiMasa

I just randomly picked a restaurant.

For the first night in Tokyo I didn’t plan anything at all, I just got the travel book and randomly picked Ginza SushiMasa in East Ginza. There are three sets for dinner, all focusing on nigiri (hand-formed sushi), I ordered the one with nine courses (12000 yen). Both the welcome dish and appetiser are marinated fish, it’s too salty for me. I really appreciate the clear soup and last soup with clams, very fresh. The sashimi and 10 pieces of nigiri was just delicious. And for the last dish, I had peach, watermelon and red bean jelly, it was delicious but I don’t like the combination, the taste and texture of the read bean jelly didn’t really match with the fruits.

Overall it was a good meal, but not surprising.

我竟然隨意地走進一家餐廳。

來到東京的第一個晚上什麼都沒有安排,到達酒店已經是晚飯時間,就隨意的在旅遊書上找了一家在東銀座的鮨正。晚餐有三種菜單,重點都是手握壽司,我點了九道菜的(12000円)。開胃菜和前菜都是醃製過的魚,覺得太鹹了。比較欣賞兩道蛤蜊清湯,很鮮甜。生魚片和手握壽司都用了非常新鮮的食材,很好吃。最後的飯後水果配紅豆糕,好吃但味道有點不搭。

整體來說不錯,不過沒什麼特色或驚喜,沒有要再去的想法。
