Procrastinated for 2 months…
In September I went to have lunch at Lotus Palace in the newly opened Parisian Macao. The choices for dim sums are more or less the same, as usual I ordered those that have special/weird names.
First of all I tried the traditional dim sums like the bbq Iberico pork bun, but the bun wasn’t soft enough. The sieu mai pork dumplings with Japanese scallop was okay however better quality control is needed (one scallop went missing). For the poached wonton in lobster bisque with armagnac, personally think that the bland lobster bisque wasn’t a good match with the wonton. I was attracted with the deep fried pork ribs in coffee sauce and it turned out that the coffee sauce was only for colouring purpose, so I was a bit disappointed. Lastly, at least the chilled coconut milk pudding with black truffle didn’t disappoint me.
Impression of Lotus Palace, just so so.
