Junsik is the pioneer of new Korean cuisine in Korea which combines traditional Korean with other culinary techniques in the world, its 3 storeys restaurant located at Cheongdam dong includes a bar, restaurant and private room. And in 2017 it received a Michelin star as well as no.22 in Asia50Best ranking.

I had the 4 courses menu (KRW60,000) for lunch, another option was a 5 courses menu (KRW 80,000). The amuse bouche was a variety of  5 finger foods to open up the taste buds. As a starter I love the raw tuna platter which paired with crispy seaweed, it was fun to pick whatever I like from the platter and put it on the piece of crispy seaweed to make a delicious bite. Rice is an important ingredient in Korean’s bap culture, not like any other traditional gimbap, the gimbap here was made with crispy seaweed. And the bibimbap was mixed with fried millet, topped with sea urchin, it was as delicious as it looked.

The desserts here were all amazing, especially the rose of versailles, it was stunning, the rose petals were made of blueberry, balancing the slightly strong flavour of the cheese. Though the rose of versailles was really beautiful, I prefer hot corn with candied pecan, I like the light corn flavour.

I had a pretty good time here.

好看好吃的現代韓食。

位於清潭洞的Junsik有三層樓高包括一樓酒吧,二樓餐廳,和三樓私人宴會,他在2017年拿得米芝蓮一星以及亞洲50大排名22的餐廳。Junsik算是現代韓食的先鋒,把傳統韓食和其他烹飪技巧結合,做出不一樣的新韓食引進韓國。

那天中午選擇了四道菜(KRW60,000),也可選五道菜的(KRW80,000),挺喜歡一上來的開胃菜,結合了西式和韓式的小吃。前菜方面我最喜歡吞拿魚拼盤配海苔脆片,可以自己動手把海苔脆片掰開一小片在上面任意放喜歡的配料,好玩又好吃。韓食怎麼能少掉飯,紫菜包飯同樣是脆皮的和傳統不一樣,很好吃但有醬的關係我覺得有點油加上份量對我來說有點多,海膽烤飯聽名字已經很想吃,賣相更吸引人,滿滿的海膽鋪在飯上,味道也不錯。

我經常被甜點吸引,這次也不例外,尤其是那朵閃閃發光的紫藍色玫瑰,花瓣其實是藍莓,下面則是芝士比較濃味。賣相這朵玫瑰贏硬,味道方面我還是比較喜歡味道較淡的粟米和核桃,喜歡淡淡的粟米香味。

非常不錯的一頓午餐。
