Time to mingle.

mingles is a restaurant that serves contemporary Korean cuisine, with a Michelin star and a ranking of no.15 in Asia50Best. The traditional Korean fermented sauce and vinegar plays an important role in the dishes. The word mingles can describe the mingling of Korean and Western cuisines, it can also describe the casual vibe at mingles that creates a place suitable to mingle with friends.

The dinner menu contained 9 courses (KWR138,000), and the rice or noodles course was optional. The first 7 courses were vegetables, seafood, and fish, I like the vegetarian dish, Rainbow Dubu, it was mainly carrot layered with vegetables in different colours and finished with a thick consommé made of vegetables and fruit trimmings, in a very simplistic plating. The most memorable dish was the Korean beef, high quality Korean beef tenderloin that was charcoal grilled and seasoned with specialty soy sauce, a must-order dish. For the desserts, Jang Trio was very special, made of three commonly use traditional Korean sauces, but my choice was Doraji as it contained my favourites, cinnamon and ginger, and it was lighter.

混在一起度過時光。

mingles是一家米芝蓮一星的現代韓國料理餐廳,也是在亞洲50大排名15的餐廳,他的料理帶點西方化,而傳統韓國發酵調味醬和醋在料理中發揮很大作用。mingles這一詞可形容西方和韓式料理的融合,也能形容餐廳氛圍比較隨便舒適適合幾個要好朋友mingling。

晚餐就一個菜單共九道(KRW138,000),可多加一道麵飯類,某些選項也需要另外加費。前七道都是一些蔬菜,海鮮,或魚類,比較喜歡的是Rainbow Dubu,蘿蔔與不同顏色的蔬菜配搭,再用剩下的材料做了醬汁,還有那極簡的擺盤。最印象深刻的當然是韓牛,選用了最頂級的1++韓牛炭烤,肉質口感都非常好,不能錯過。甜品全都很有韓國特色,最特別的是Jang Trio用了三種韓國料理常用的三種醬,但我喜歡另一道Doraji,有喜歡的肉桂和姜,味道也比較清淡。

基本每一道都好吃,也是在韓國最喜歡的一頓飯。
